I tried Carlson’s Fish Oil after reading in “In Defense of Food” by Michael Pollan that fish oil is one of the two supplements everyone should add to diet. My first taste was a bit off-putting because it is oil, period!….with the feel of oil. After a few doses, I found that I almost craved it. I haven’t tried other fish oils, but I have no reason too. It has a subtle orange taste that leaves a pleasant aroma in your mouth and I can’t really taste the fish. I love it.

What happened? – Fish Oil Bob –
Never received the product. I placed the order. Received an email several days later stating the product shipped late – no problem, it happens. A few days later I received an email stating that Amazon had received the returned item and that I would be receiving a refund. I was issued a refund shortly after. What happened? Never received the Fish Oil. Amazon was the fulfiller of this order and D.A.C.(the supplier) wrote to me stating that they received word from Amazon that the order was filled and completed. What happened? My clinic was a distributor of this product for many years and I have been extremely happy with this item, but I am unsure if I would be comfortable making recurring purchases via this route.

I have tried several different fish oils in various forms, and this far and away is the best that I have ever taken. My 7-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son take it every night without complaint, thats how good it tastes. And the amount of DHA and EPA is equal to several of the caplets, so it is really worth the money to get the liquid. Keep it in the fridge and take it with a meal, no fishy after taste of burps.

The Cod Liver Oil with lemon is very pleasant to take. It really has no taste except for a small hint of lemon. Being processed in Norway or at a Norwegian facility makes the possibility of mercury in the fish extremely low — which is waht we all want for good health. Recommend highly!
